Amazon, Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads, Intel, Intuit, Cisco, eBay, and Zappos.
Those are the companies I applied to. I could’ve sworn I applied to more? The two I haven’t yet applied to are Google and Microsoft.
Hmm…

Day two of looking for apartments in SF. Today I met up with Jeff at Cosmos, and between the two of us, we’ve seen pretty much every Nob Hill apartment on Craigslist. Oh and Aaron was here earlier, looking for jobs. Mark just joined us, and he’s showing us the Steam Beta for OSX.
I’m probably going to end up finding a sublet studio or a residential hotel for a few weeks until I find an apartment I like. It’s pretty hard to find somewhere to live when you are going off of a paragraph of promotional copy and a few photos.
Note to self: Apparently an “everything bagel” consists of poppy seeds, onions and sesame seeds. I was unaware that these three things comprise “everything” in the known universe.
So following a ridiculous weekend in Coachella, I found out the morning after I got back that I had a phone interview at a company in SF. Wanting to get it out of the way, I scheduled for that following day.
The phone interview went well, and at the end she asked me if I could fly up for an on-site interview, and I said yes. I got an email a few hours later telling me my on-site interview was in two days.
Having nothing better to do, I booked a flight and engaged in a weekend that might quite possibly have been even more hectic than Coachella. (pictured above is “Hippie Hill” at Golden Gate Park)
The Monday I flew back home, on the verge of puking, en route to the airport, I got a call saying I had a job.
So that happened. I guess I’m employed now?

My phone kept dying so I didn’t get to take as many pictures as I would have liked. I’ll post a more thorough rundown with pictures and videos later on this week.
Dude video tape everyone when they’re sleeping. You can record them as they’re waking up, that’d be sick. Wait, maybe it won’t be. — Lucas “the Hurricane” Salazar
I procrastinated on my Coachella homework! It’s less than two days away and I still haven’t listened to everyone yet. I’m REALLY hoping the new trackball for my Blackberry comes tomorrow so that I can actually tumble while I’m there. (I CANT SCROLL DOWN)
Also, I was scared I wouldn’t get my Flip Video camera on time because as of this morning it still said “Billing information received” or something, but I checked right now and it’s scheduled for delivery tomorrow. With the waterproof housing.
On a side note, I accidentally closed this tab, and Tumblr recovered it for me, so +1 to Tumblr for that.
Skipped Cosmos and pulled my dusty old Roland out of the closet to take a stab at learning “Ordinary People.” Sara Bareilles has “Love Song” on the Lesson Store too, maybe I’ll give that a shot next.
Spending the day doing this and working on a quick freelance gig I picked up through Aaron. I reinstalled iLife ‘09 onto my Macbook so I might import the rest of my DV tapes tonight and mess around with iMovie.
I just found out that Garageband’s Lesson Store has John Legend’s “Ordinary People.” I am relearning how to play piano starting… now.
